Decameron certifies 100% of its hotels with Ecostars

Decameron All Inclusive Hotels & Resorts, one of the most recognized hotel chains in Latin America and the Caribbean, has officially certified all its properties with the international Ecostars label, reinforcing our commitment to sustainable tourism. This certification, whose standards are recognized as equivalent by the Global Sustainable Tourism Council (GSTC), assesses each hotel’s environmental performance individually and is displayed on platforms like Booking.com and Google.

Achieving this international certification not only reflects our continuous effort to maintain high sustainability standards, but also reaffirms our vision of responsible tourism. At Decameron, sustainability is a fundamental part of our business model, which is why we are always looking for ways to operate in a more conscious, responsible and transparent manner.

Además, la cadena también recibió la certificación Wyndham Green para los nueve hoteles en México, Jamaica y Panamá que hacen parte de esta alianza, destacando buenas prácticas como el uso eficiente de la energía y el agua, la gestión de residuos y la sensibilización ambiental con colaboradores y huéspedes.

The chain also received Wyndham Green certification for the nine hotels in Mexico, Jamaica and Panama that are part of this alliance, highlighting best practices such as the efficient use of energy and water, waste management and environmental awareness among employees and guests.
