Weather Advisory

Decameron Hotels understands that the current weather may cause our guests to consider changing their travel plans. With this in mind, we offer our guests the following Flexibility Policy, in which you may reschedule your reservation without penalty or difference in rates, until August 30, 2024 as your last return date, as long as you maintain the same conditions of the initial reservation (Same hotel, same season, same cycle of days, same number and type of guests) at all resorts in Jamaica.

In the event that there is a Hurricane Warning in destination (as defined by the metservice.gov.jm/localforecast/) within the dates of affected reservations we will offer our guest the convenience of the following options:

For guests who are at home and choose to depart, an early departure waiver will be authorized for the nonuse of those nights.

For guests that opt to cancel reservations within 48 hours of arrival, penalties will be waived and guests will receive a credit for travel up to one year for the number of nights originally booked.

For guests in-house unable to depart as scheduled the resort will provide distressed passengers rates as indicated by the resort on a USD per person, per night all-inclusive basis, to be paid directly at the hotel. These distressed passenger rates are extended as a special courtesy due to the situation, subsidized by the resort, and not available otherwise.

Guests may arrive after the storm passes for either the same number of nights, in which case, the resort will make every effort to confirm the dates and room category, and guarantee no (hotel) rate increase.

Distressed Passenger Fares are used as Hurricane Fares. Hurricane Fares become effective once the National Hurricane Weather Center has issued an Official Hurricane Warning for the destination. Please note: the policy is not in effect for Hurricane Watches, Warnings or Tropical Storm Watches.

The safety and well-being of mutual guests is of the utmost importance. Should there be an emergency at the resorts, please be assured that the resort management and staff have the training, resources and experience to enable our guests to weather any storm.
