CERTIFICATION PROCESS CONTINUES

At Decameron Hotels we have joined forces with Intertek in Latin America with the main purpose of reinforcing our biosafety protocols and safeguarding everyone's health. Intertek, through its “Intertek Protek” seal, is carrying out the complete verification of all our Biosafety protocols, and by this, increasing the confidence of Decameron travelers around the world.

The Intertek Protek certification takes part at all Decameron hotels outside of Colombia, as in this country, hotels are being certified by SGS with the seal: "Certified Check in" issued by the Ministry of Tourism and Commerce.

The first three hotels to receive the “Intertek Protek” certification are: The Royal Decameron Salinitas, in El Salvador, Royal Decameron Punta Centinela and Royal Decameron Mompiche in Ecuador. These three hotels, in addition to having the Decameron Health Inclusive program, implemented in all the hotels in the chain and which reinforces the company's current health, hygiene and safety protocols, have now the Intertek Protek seal. In accordance with the schedule defined with Intertek, hotels in Mexico, Panama, Peru, Jamaica, Haiti and Costa Rica will complete their certification process before the end of the year.
