For the fifth year in a row, TripAdvisor certifies Decameron’s excellence

The specialized travel and tourism network, of which more than 340 million unique users around the world are a part, granted the “Certificate of Excellence” to three resorts of the hotel chain with presence in Latin America and the Caribbean: The Decameron Barú and Decameron Isleño in Colombia, as well as the Royal Decameron Club Caribbean in Jamaica.

The certification is obtained by those hotels that frequently capture good reviews from travellers in this network. To identify them, each hotel must have a score of at least four out of five, have a minimum number of reviews and be on TripAdvisor for more than 12 months.

But also, the network uses its own algorithm that evaluates quality, quantity and freshness of reviews shared during that period, as well as the permanence and popularity index of the hotel.

This time, TripAdvisor also designed the ‘Hall of Fame’ in order to elevate the quality of those hotels that have received the certification for five years in a row. An exclusive excellence club of which Decameron Barú and Royal Decameron Club Caribbean are members.
